Content as data: What authors need to write for new realities

The content as document paradigm is being replaced by  “content as data.”  Whether this is for writing for content 4.0, if is for purposes of consistency or to prepare for electronic and interactive discovery of information; it all points in the direction of structured Content Authoring will be adopted by a broad audience.

Jan discussed how authors can be helped to cross the chasm between format-oriented Unstructured authors toward structured an semantic authoring. The question is: how to make Structured Content Authoring a mainstream activity?

Who is presenting?

Jan Benedictus has been working in structured content since 1996. As founder of web-agency “Liones” he has helped many publishers to migrate from paper to online publishing. In 2012 Jan founded FontoXML, web-based XML editor for non-XML experts. He and his team develop and implement structured authoring solutions for many different organizations.
