Playing with the Context
The main reason for adopting DITA is its support for reuse. Reuse implies context, as it basically means using the same thing in different situations, that is in different contexts. But in the same time we want some people, usually subject matter experts, to interact with the DITA content as if they are using a word processor, so ignoring the context information. How we can control the context, when we should hide it and how we should do that?

George Bina is one of the founders of Syncro Soft, the company that develops oXygen XML suite of XML editing, authoring, development, publishing and collaboration tools. He has more than 20 years of experience in working with XML and related technologies, bringing many innovative ideas to reality and contributing to XML-related open-source projects.
