Is this a Trick Question? How to write interactions that effectively evaluate learning

The DITA Learning and Training Specialization provides seven different interaction types to evaluate whether or not a learning objective was achieved or mastered. In the DITA specification, we are given the structure and syntax of these interactions, but left on our own to determine which type of question is best suited for our objectives and how best to phrase the question and any options. In this review of the DITA interaction types, Dawn not only provides coding best practices, but also context for when to use each question type and guidelines for writing questions that effectively assess the learner’s level of understanding on the subject.
